Neos Networks expands its presence with London and Manchester data centers
Neos Networks has announced two new data centres to its UK-wide fibre network as the company approaches 100 on-net facilities. Neos Networks is one of the UK’s leading business telecoms providers.
The first site connected is Equinix’s MA5 data centre in Manchester. The second site is the Telehouse South (THS) data centre in London Docklands, which will go live in the coming months. Last week, Telehouse announced that THS will increase its capacity to 7.7 MW in three collocation space floors. As part of an “ongoing process” by Telehouse, the 31,000 square metre facility will provide 12,000 square metres of collocation space and a total power capacity of 18 MW.
Neos Networks said both Equinix MA5 and Telehouse South will be connected with fibre and 100Gbps enabled. The goal is to provide UK businesses with secure, reliable, high capacity connectivity services that meet their business needs.
